Riders’ Rider 2023

In memory of Josh Rider, the NCCB's Riders' Rider Award will once again be an annual award presented by NCCB. Being voted the best rider by your peers is just one way we will remember our brother, Josh. 

The original NCCB had a member-voted perpetual trophy, the Riders' Rider. This was to acknowledge outstanding surfing throughout the year, from across the divisions, and to recognise the rider who represented NCCB with distinction at regional, state, national or other competitions. 

It is one vote per member, with the award presented at the NCCB 2023 presentation on November 19.
